Backstory: Jessie is bright, smarter than a lot of girls her age. Problem is that she's always bored. She never cared about her studies, since she could coast through classes and still get B's. Her parents constantly pushed her harder and harder and harder, but all that made her do was want to rebel and push back just as hard. More than anything she wanted to live life to it's fullest, not wither away her irreplaceable youth hidden away in some library or study hall.
She eventually got her chance by making an opportunity for herself. She ran away to finally have the freedom she felt she deserved, as well as to run away from a rather unfortunate situation at home. Eventually she fell for a biker, and quickly fell into that entire lifestyle. Originally just a trophy girlfriend, she couldn't settle for merely being eye-candy and began to not only ride, but to race. Striking out on her own once again, she paid the bills by racing for pinks, modifying the bikes and selling them off afterwards to make ends meet. When times were bad she served as a getaway driver, asking no questions but making sure that whoever paid her well would get from point A to point B on time and with no police interference. She briefly befriended a pair of bounty hunters who helped her get her life back on track, but the various mistakes of the past still come back to haunt her.
Her only magical power is her sheer force of will. The harder she races, the faster she can push her ride until it far exceeds what the vehicle can normally do. For the longest time she thought it was just her skill - and she still thinks that to a degree, with good reason. But after discovering that she had at least some latent magical abilities, she searched for a place that she could unlock this strange new part of her. Besides, a hidden community such as St. Catherine's would be a great place to lay low from the cops for a while...
